Time and Attendance Overview

HCC Time and Attendanceā„¢ software is much more than a time clock. It is also a management tool with functionality designed to help you control employee time worked for maximum productivity and minimal time waste.

HCC Time and Attendance tracks employee time records to help you monitor and improve compliance with attendance policies, ensure sufficient coverage in each department, manage employee duties and check payroll and human resources information.

You can define pay periods, pay rates, weekly schedules, maximum hours per pay period, time per lunch and break, number of breaks per day and more. You can create departments, job codes and employee usage permission levels.

Report Suite

  • Payroll - Print time records, track overtime hours and monitor coverage for job codes and departments
  • Audit - Track exceptions to established parameters such as excess maximum hours, time worked outside preset schedules and modified time records.
  • Administration - View length of employment, review dates and pay rate changes; monitor compliance for clocking in or out for shift start and end, breaks and lunch
  • Notes - Add notes to display in employee files, schedules, calendar, at the time clock and on printed reports.

Convenience and Control

  • Biometric Security - Employees clock in and out by placing their fingertips on a sensor pad to ensure absolute ID and verification of hours worked.
  • Staffing Levels - Integrated scheduling tools and critical report data such as graphs of labor hours used contrast against point of sale volumes and pharmacy transactions by hour. Managers can better plan schedules to help identify staffing needs and prevent staffing shortages.
  • System Controls - User-defined system controls prevent employees from clocking in unscheduled overtime hours without manager overrides.

Versatile Function

Use at a stand-alone station or at each workstation. Clock in via mouse and keyboard or fingerprint ID for accuracy and accountability.

  • Create job assignments by date and priority to display at the time clock for staff to view, print or update.

Controls

  • Manually update time records as needed, set time clock to mandate and monitor adherence to specific parameters.
  • See staff work schedules, who is clocked in or out, birth dates, hire dates and benefits status.
  • Approve or reject electronic time off requests, see scanned jury summons supporting jury duty requests and review time off request histories.
